Yamada Daikagura

Kagura is a tradition in Shintoism. This Kagura is called Shishimai (lion dance) and has an important role in festivities. Horiren dedicated the painting to this altar in Yamada, Iwate Prefecture which was made in a prefabricated structure after the devastation of 2011 tsunami.
