The video features the exhibition participants’ visit to the Kawanabe Kyosai Memorial Museum to view their exhibition of “Kyosai Plus 1, Series 35” – Coloring Kyosai’s Uchiwa Woodblock Prints.

This special exhibition consisted of work from the artists from Lotus Soul, a group of artists organized by Horiren.

The exhibition of painted Japanese hand fans, from the woodblock print outlines of Kawanabe Kyosai, was held from April 2nd – 25th, 2021. Also included in the video is an interview of one of the participants, a member of Lotus Soul.
